Russian & Ukrainian Women Scammers
Here we have the hall of fame for Russian scammers and their counterparts in Ukraine! We run a very tight ship at East meet West and put every new woman who wants to join our network through a thorough check before her profile gets posted join our website.
The first thing we do is make sure they are living and breathing! They have to visit our agents offices in person with their passport and another form of id. You’d think this would be a basic point of citeria when joining a dating site, but it isn’t with the majority of online dating sites.
The majority of Russian dating sites allow women to sign up online with just a name, email address and photo. Needless to say every scammer from Russia picks a yahoo or hotmail address, copies some fake photo’s of a pretty lady and signs up all over the place.
It’s not long before they start getting a stack of emails from lonesome men and the scams begin. These sites will tell you they do all they can but let’s face it, what can you do to prevent scammers signing up if you never see who they are. They (the site owners) really don’t give a toss as it’s not their money getting taken. Sure they’ll take serious action when they get a report of a scammer (they’ll delete her account – and she’ll sign on again in a couple of hours with a new email address and photo’s) but they’ve already had your monthly fees.
Because we insist on meeting the women, seeing their passports to check they are for real, their age and marital status is correct we find this is enough to keep the majority of scammers away from our service. We also monitor correspondence though our mail forwarding service and will stop women asking for money and will remove them if they persist.
Obviously some will still get through and will be miss sweety through her letters and will end up directing men to write via personal email, texts or through phone calls which we just can’t monitor. Inevitably some attempts to scam will occur despite all our attemtps to hinder it.
As soon as we are made aware of it (and it’s usually pretty quick) the lady will be asked to give her version of events and if we have any doubts we’ll favour the man and the woman has to be removed. Those we know for sure have scammed will be posted here in all their glory!
